Ady making a "train" with all the hot pads from Great Grandma Kite

We live about 10 minutes away from Snowbasin Ski Resort and we've been there once. Hello! It's absolutely beautiful. I decided this summer that we were going on a gondola ride and ski lessons this winter. Look at how beautiful it is. Love it! We ate dinner at the top and there was not a bad view in the whole lodge. By the way, when we got to the top of the mountain, it was 40 degrees! What? Good thing I brought jackets cause it was COLD!

It's fair time and here we are at the Weber County Fair (I even let the girls invite their dad, nice me!)

Okay, so I live in the mountains where creatures live and I'm a single mom and normally dad's usually are the ones to initiate these kind of activities - right? But we tried and that's all I can say! It lasted about an hour & a half and then into the nice warm house where there are NO creatures to worry about! We had fun while we were at it.

Our marvelous aunt Marvel (her name fits her perfectly!) gave us some raspberry starts last year and we got raspberries this year! The girls have loved it! Here's Ady pickin and eating them. Often I'll find her out there by herself picking them so Lex wont.

Where did she come from? Ooh, I LOVE HER!

We LOVE feeding the duckies at the pond by Muppy & Pops, they even had ducklings this time. Lexxy wanted to try and catch one so she could have it for a pet. Yeah right, the hawks or fox or racoons or whatever creature that lives up here would have loved that!

My sweet little girls who are best friends!
This is the way Ady likes to spend the day at the water park, 2 different ones for that matter. We went to 3 or 4 different water parks a couple of weeks ago and it was always during nap time. How would it be to be a kid again...?

Ady likes to take pictures with mommy, especially funny ones.
Trying to get a girl-cousin picture - we were missing 2 cousins and it still probably wouldn't have worked...

Freakishly, Michael Jackson showed up for the parade!
Uncle "Wob" waiting for the fireworks
Ady was hiding & didn't want to have her picture taken

Patiently waiting for the fireworks!

These kids were ready - isn't it beautiful!

"Can you see my red?"

My 4th of July beauties!

I love her!
I'll try to describe each of these pictures. This is over the 4th of July. We LOVE the 4th in Huntsville. I live 2 minutes away from Pineview Lake and we enjoy lots of fun in the sun & sand. I have family come in from Indiana & Washington to enjoy it. They have a small (big!) town parade and fun in the park, then a GRAND fireworks show where we can watch it from our own backyard.

Lexxy's dance recital - it was darling and hilarious all at the same time.

For quite a while Ady would walk around asking us "Can you see my red?" This was the face we always got. She's a riot!
Eating pizza on the way home from swim lessons.
My blond and brown-haired beauties.

Enjoying the warm summer sun.

Ady being her typical self. She loves putting "stuff" on. She's so darling!
